Public Catering

We will provide a wide range of festival food stalls offering our customers Thai, Chinese, Mexican, Chicken & Ribs, Hog Roast, Fish & chips, Southern style fried Chicken, Pizza’s, Burgers & chips, Doughnuts, Frozen Yoghurt, and Ice Creams on site.

Also in the grounds we will have Champagne Marquee, Gin Palace, Mojito Tent, Pimm’s Tent, Real Ale Tent and our 30 metre Bar Serving Lagers, Ciders, Spirits, Wines and Soft Drinks, also Fresh Coffee, Tea available thought the site.

CHILDREN'S AREA

This year we are adding more attractions for your younger audience, we will have our popular area with rides which will have a charge of £8.00 for an arm band and can be used all day, we will also be adding another area within the trees which will include Storytelling, Magic shows, Children’s face painting, Pottery making, more will be added over the coming months making it a great day out for the children.

All activities allow children to keep what they've made.

Using natural objects such as leaves and flowers as well as drawings and text to create a photographic image developed just using the sun (fingers crossed) and water.

Using recycled materials such as coloured ribbons, fabrics and plastics Children can make their own 'dancing ribbons' which can be held in their hands or worn like bracelets while dancing.

We have managed to source a potter – Rob is at The Glass Centre, Sunderland He can offer “throwing” pots on a couple of potters wheels.

The Venue

Overlooking 120 acres of parkland, Hardwick Hall Hotel lies in the heart of the beautiful County Durham countryside, Hardwick is a country park with a difference. A perfect location for a great day out.

Parking & More

Our car park has a very large capacity Tickets are available in advance on line at £4.00 per vehicle or you will be able to pay on the day, cash only at £5.00 per vehicle, If you wish to leave your vehicle overnight you may do so, however this will be at your own risk, the gates will be locked at 3:30 am Sunday morning and will be reopened at 10.00 am until 2.00pm on Sunday afternoon for you to collect your vehicle, please note you are not allowed to sleep over night in your vehicle.

The Car park for our event is situated on Hardwick East Park and will be clearly signed, the entrance to this will be from the mini roundabout opposite the entrance to Hardwick Park on the A177.

If you are being dropped off please drive into the East Park and follow the signs to the drop off area and into the event.

For pick up after the event please arrange for your driver / taxi to pick you up in the main Hardwick Park car park where there is plenty of space for them to wait for you. There will be no parking or waiting outside the main entrance to Hardwick Hall Hotel, the main car park or on the A177.

There will be plenty of space at the rear of the audience area and away from the stage area for you to sit down on the grass using rug’s and enjoy the whole day out, the area at the front of the stage is for a standing audience this is an all standing concert.

Please dress for the weather and remember the event is taking place on the hotel lawns so please wear appropriate footwear on the day, there is no dress code for Hardwick Live.
